We investigate bioelectronic interfaces and sensor arrays for the stimulation and recording of chemical and electrical signals in cellular networks. In particular we develop electrochemical printed sensor arrays for sensitive and localized detection of molecules that are release from individual cells. To this end, we investigate advanced sensor designs based on redox cycling amplification.
