New Master's projects available
We have recently started a project that aims at measuring the heat output of cells using highly sensitive parallelized sensor platforms. To this end, we use novel printing-based approaches to fabricate sensor arrays of 148 PTC sensors that are integrated into standard 96 well cell-culture plates. In order to efficiently calibrate these sensors and perform measurements under controlled conditions, we are developing a custom setup capable of heating/cooling the immediate environment of the sensor plate as well as managing calibration and measurement data from the sensors. Here, we have two openings for MAster's projects in the development of the setup:
- Ambient control chamber for highly sensitive parallelized measurements of cellular thermogenesis
- Readout electronics for highly sensitive parallelized measurements of cellular thermogenesis
